Happy Apples are not meant to be perfect or symmetrical. Like us, they carry imperfections, marks and traces of life – and it is often in these imperfections that their true beauty is found. Each glass apple is unique, with its own character and story.
Each apple is shaped by hand and by fire, and the glass itself is allowed to leave its own traces. A tiny bubble, a small irregularity, or a subtle shift in colour or form – these are not flaws to be hidden, but part of the work’s unique character.
Like us, they are shaped by what happens along the way. We carry imperfections, differences and individual qualities that make us who we are.
No two Happy Apples are exactly alike. Their small imperfections are part of their beauty, their story and their soul.
Perfectly imperfect – just like us.
Every Happy Apple is handmade and therefore one of a kind. The meeting between fragile glass and raw materials creates contrasts that are central to my work. Through Contemporary Glass Art Sweden, I want each piece to carry not only colour and light, but also emotion, individuality and a sense of life.
